‘2017-18 Top Doctor in Concierge Medicine’ by the industry’s leading trade publication

Morris Hasson, MD has been named one of Concierge Medicine Today’s biennial ‘Top Doctors in Concierge Medicine’ for 2017-18, a distinction held by less than one percent of physicians across the country every two years. Dr. Hasson is one of just 25 physicians nationwide to earn the honor, based on factors such as use of innovative technologies, value-added services inside the practice, charitable participation in the community, patient reviews, medical and social influence, educational efforts and other relevant indicators.

“The physicians named to this year’s ‘Top Doctors in Concierge Medicine’ list are singular representatives of a modern era of healthcare delivery that is representative of old-fashioned values,” said Catherine Sykes, publisher of the industry’s leading trade publication, Concierge Medicine Today. “These physicians and their staff provide some of the most innovative approaches, ideas, educational treatments and therapies available to patients today. Together, with their healthcare teams, they are bringing patient care and affordable access in their communities to a new level of excellence.”

Dr. Hasson established his concierge practice in 2012 to offer comprehensive private medicine to the Orange County, CA community. Patients were quick to appreciate the distinctive benefits of concierge medicine, including longer visits, same/next day appointments, direct access to their physician by cell phone and a pronounced emphasis on wellness.

In addition to the highly personalized care Dr. Hasson provides to members of his practice, he offers a specialized focus on weight management as a component of optimal health. Drawing on years of expertise as the Medical Director of the Weight Management Program at UC Irvine, Dr. Hasson has customized effective, solution-based strategies for patients at the onsite Center for Effective Weight Loss and Lifestyle Change. Supporting patients to create long-term positive lifestyle changes has proven exceptionally successful at the Center, with achievement of weight loss goals, reductions in medications and dosage levels, and a restored confidence in future health.

Dr. Hasson also offers a growing, personalized care executive wellness program to a number of high-profile corporations in Orange County. “Many companies are recognizing the value a concierge medical program can deliver in terms of better outcomes that reduce absenteeism, disability and chronic health conditions,” he says.

“We congratulate Dr. Hasson on this well-earned recognition for his innovative approach to concierge medicine,” says Terry Bauer, CEO, Specialdocs Consultants, LLC, a healthcare consulting firm that assisted Dr. Hasson with his transition to concierge care. “He continues to help shape the future of personalized care, and we are privileged to work with this very ‘special doc.’”

The ‘Top Doctors in Concierge Medicine’ list includes some of the nation’s most respected specialists and outstanding primary care physicians, recognized by patients, peers and other healthcare professionals as the best in their fields, according to Concierge Medicine Today. They do not pay a fee and are not paid to be listed.
